- AI requests pass to the model under a strict no-training API policy and are not stored. Sensitive mail — verification codes, logins — is never sent to AI at all. That's structural, not a setting.

What happens to my existing folders?
Nothing destructive. MailOh reads the folders you already have and organizes new mail into real IMAP folders on your server. Everything stays visible to any other mail client, on any device.
Can I leave?
Anytime. There is no export step because there is nothing to export — your mail lives on your own server, in ordinary folders MailOh created in place. Uninstall it, and your mailbox stays organized.
Where does the AI run?
On Desktop: wherever you point it — your own API key, or fully local with Ollama, so nothing leaves your machine. On Cloud: on our servers, within your included actions. Either way, rules with no AI at all handle roughly 80% of mail first.
What exactly is an AI action?
One unit of AI work: a Screener suggestion for a new sender, a summary, a drafted reply. When your monthly actions run out, mail keeps flowing rules-only until the next cycle. There are no overage charges — ever.
Do you read my mail?
No. Verification codes are never sent to AI, never forwarded, and stored redacted. The spy-pixel blocker strips trackers on arrival and shows you who tried. This page has no analytics either — we don’t even count you.
Which providers work?
Any IMAP mailbox: your own domain at Metanet or Infomaniak, iCloud, Gmail, Outlook, a self-hosted server. If it speaks IMAP, MailOh organizes it in place.
